At Mindo Lindo, forest trails, a canopy observation tower, and daily wildlife activity offer an intimate encounter with the cloud forest of Ecuador’s Andean Chocó. In 2023, Pedro and Heike joined colleagues to establish Fundación Ecuador – Verde Esperanza (FEVE), formalizing and expanding the conservation work that began at Mindo Lindo. FEVE advances forest restoration, biodiversity protection, environmental education, and scientific research through collaborative partnerships across Ecuador.
